Emirates Brings Back Its Sweetest Summer Surprise: Free Ice Cream at DXB!

If you needed another reason to love flying with Emirates, this is it. The airline is turning up the chill factor by reintroducing a fan-favourite treat—complimentary ice cream for all passengers at Dubai International Airport (DXB). That’s right! Emirates is bringing summer smiles one scoop at a time, making your airport experience a little cooler and a lot tastier.

Where to Find the Free Ice Cream at Dubai Airport

Travelers departing through Terminal 3 are in for a cool treat. Emirates has stationed bright red ice cream carts at four different locations in the Departures area. These carts are easy to spot thanks to their bold colors and welcoming staff.

To claim your frozen treat, head to one of the carts and grab a tub (or a few!). The friendly team behind the carts is more than happy to hand out multiple servings. Whether you’re treating your kids, travel partners, or yourself, go ahead and indulge.

A Flavor for Every Taste

Emirates isn't skimping on options either. The ice cream is crafted by the airline’s in-flight catering team under its Emperor brand, offering four delectable flavors to satisfy every kind of sweet tooth:

Mango

Chocolate

Strawberry

Raspberry or Passion Fruit Sorbet

Craving variety? That’s your perfect excuse to sample every flavor. Solo travelers especially might want to try them all—you know, for research purposes.

When Can You Get It? Emirates’ Ice Cream Schedule

Before you pack your bags and race to Terminal 3, take note: the ice cream is only available on weekends—specifically, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. So, if your travel plans fall on a weekend, you’re in luck! And if they don’t... maybe consider a schedule shuffle?

A Tasty Tradition Since 2018

This isn’t Emirates’ first ice cream rodeo. The airline debuted the initiative in 2018, handing out over 2 million tubs during that summer alone. It’s no surprise the program is making a return—after all, who doesn’t love a sweet surprise before takeoff?
