What to see:
Surely you have seen the impressive sunsets and the breathtaking view in many photos. It is impossible not to enjoy this unique experience from the region of Oia. When the sun goes down, it is these few minutes that take your breath away watching the orange colors in the sky. Our advice is that you should go 1-2 hours earlier as there are too many people and finding a place will not be easy.
Santorini is also known for its volcano, after the eruption of which the island took the shape it has today. The Volcano or otherwise Nissos Nea Kameni is open to the public and there you will find the "National Geological Natural Park of Nea Kameni" which is located in the active volcano of Santorini. The entrance to the park costs 2 euros.

Where to swim:
In Santorini you will see some unique beaches that you’ re not going to find anywhere else or on any other Greek island. The reason is that the Volcano has created some of the most impressive beaches such as the Red, White and Black beaches.
Black sand dominates. On most beaches of the island you will find black sand, which has come naturally from the volcano. Perissa, Perivolos, Kamari, Monolithos are similar to each other.
The Red Beach is really impressive. There you will meet the orange - red rocks and sand.

What to eat:
You can't come to Greece and not try one of the most famous traditional dishes, which is "Souvlaki". Souvlaki is a very famous food that contains meat of your choice along with potatoes, tomato, onion and tzatziki (sauce) all wrapped in a pie-bread. You also have to try fava beans and tomato balls.
On the island you will not only find Greek cuisine but also you can taste traditional Chinese, Indian food and anything else that attracts your appetite.
We suggest you visit Ammoudi bay and enjoy fresh seafood by the sea.

Don't use donkeys:
During your visit to Santorini and specifically to Thira you will see that there are donkeys that the locals use to move tourists from Ammoudi Bay to Thira. These beloved animals wait for hours in the scorching sun and often find themselves loaded with a lot of weight.
