When we talk about Italy, then most travelers think about mainstream cities. Rome, Venice, Milan, and Florence are some cities that grab the attention of most travelers. But hang on because you are missing some dreamy destinations in Italy. Some of the most stunning destinations are tiny, little known villages. However, these small villages are far from the hustle and bustle. So, these are beautiful places to spend some time with picture-perfect views.

Top tiny yet beautiful villages in Italy:

The main aim is to show the hidden sides of Italy. So, we prepared a list of the most beautiful small towns. These little towns are historical, artistic, and have a cultural heritage.

Tellaro, Liguria:

Cinque Terra is one of Italy's most visited villages and has become so congested in past years. So, due to more population, the government has restricted tourist access. Luckily, there is an equally beautiful destination named "Tellaro." However, it is just a few miles down from the Ligurian coast. There isn't a major tourist attraction here, but you can enjoy the pastel-colored buildings and narrow streets. Apart from this, the sweeping sea view offers the most fantastic pleasure to the eyes.

Alberobello, Puglia:

The second recommendation is the Alberobello, a small town near the Bari in Puglia. Here the tricone shaped houses provide a fantastic site, especially when they have dusted by snow. However, due to the beautiful places and scenes, UNESCO included this building in the world heritage site in 1996. Moreover, for the best view, don't forget to head towards the Piazza del Popolo to see the entire town's spectacular views.

Castelluccio, Umbria:

If you head towards a hill that is 5,000 from the sea level, there is the highest village named Castelluccio. However, there is one of the most beautiful Apennine mountain range. Above all, this stunning village is backed by the snowcapped mountains from the side. Thus, the other side is filled with lush yet mesmerizing meadows. Unfortunately, the earthquake in 2016 did massive damage to this village. Some shops and restaurants are still open.

Cefalu, Sicily:

Cefalu is an hour away from Palermo. If you are in the mood to enjoy the postcard view, don't miss visiting this place. Above all, the most beautiful mountains, meadows, and greenery are enough to soothe the eyes. Many directors chose this place to film their movies. Above all, many churches and seafront views wouldn't make you bore. Apart from this, don't forget to catch the sight of a beautiful sunset.

Pitigliano, Tuscany:

The nickname of this beautiful village is little Jerusalem. Once, it was the home to a large Jewish community who settled here in the 16th century. However, the Jewish went from here in the 20th century. Still, there are many things that you can enjoy here. You can see a restored synagogue, traditional bread ovens, and small museums. Apart from this, here is a collection of historical artifacts, caves, and walking series of Etruscan caves.
