In Italy you can find one of the most impressive restaurants in the world. What makes this restaurant unique is the fact that it was built in a natural cave. The Grotta Palazzese restaurant took its name firstly, from the homonymous cave and secondly, from a place that was once called "Grotta di Palazzo". Since 1700, the Grotta Palazzese has been used for parties and banquets. It is located in the picturesque town of Polignano a Mare in the province of Southern Italy.

This one of a kind restaurant can accommodate up to one hundred and fifty people while protecting the natural beauty of the cave. The view from the terrace is magnificent! It is open from May until October and strict clothing rules are followed. Reservation is almost necessary, since the restaurant is full any day of the week.
