Families visiting Expo City Dubai this December can combine Christmas traditions with experiences inspired by some of their favorite films. Winter City returns to Al Wasl Plaza from December 11 to 31, 2026, with a Disney+ collaboration themed “Once upon a holiday.”

The program will feature themed experiences drawing on Frozen, Toy Story and Home Alone, alongside Marvel superheroes and Disney princesses. These additions bring a new focus to the seasonal event, giving visitors more to explore during their festive evening out.

Christmas favorites will also return. Children can write letters to Santa and visit his grotto, while families can enjoy the Christmas tree lighting, snow experiences and seasonal markets. Mrs Claus’ Bakery and festive food stalls will offer treats along the way, with outdoor holiday film screenings adding another reason to stay after sunset.

For those planning a visit, opening hours are 4 pm to 10 pm. General admission costs AED 60, while the Winter City Express Entry Pass costs AED 175. Children aged three and under enter free, as do People of Determination with one caregiver.

A guaranteed Santa meet-and-greet costs an additional AED 75 and is available only with the Express Gate Pass.

Tickets and booking details are available through Expo City Dubai’s official website.
