See video of the massive 3200-year-old President Tree, the third largest sequoia in the world

The ''President'' is a huge sequoia tree named after President Warren G. Harding in 1923 that is located in the Giant Forest of Sequoia National Park in California of the United States.

This massive tree has a height of 247 feet (75 meters) and 27 feet (8.2 meters) width in diameter at the base. The volume of its trunk measures at 45,000 cubic feet (1,300 m3) with an additional 9,000 cubic feet (250 m3) of branches, making it the second largest sequoia tree in the world. Moreover, the tree is one of the fastest growing trees in the whole world, while adding a cubic meter of wood every year.

The size, volume, and age have been confirmed by Steve Sillet, a research scientist at Humboldt State University.

What makes this tree unique is its age. The ''President'' is estimated to be 3,200 years old, meaning it's the oldest-known living sequoia! An Interesting fact is that its colossal branches mighty hold 2 billion needles, the most that any tree in the planet can hold. Its size and volume are the deterrents factors that the 3,200-year-old president's tree has rarely been captured in a single photograph.
