Ski Express: A Majestic Night Train That Will Take You From Amsterdam Directly To The Picturesque Austrian Alps
Are you a fan of train travel? Do you like winter destinations and ski resorts? Then you will surely love the new travel experience that we present to you below. Get ready for the perfect winter getaway this year, a collaborative project from travel company Tui and Green City, a Dutch night train operator!
A new night train called the Ski Express will take skiers (aspiring or experienced) from Amsterdam and Utrecht in the Netherlands to the Austrian Alps. It will take you from Dutch cities directly to ski resorts such as Kirchberg, Gerlos, Niederau, Soll and Zell Am See, so as soon as you disembark you can head straight to the ski slopes and waste no time. In Wörgl, a small border town, the route splits in two: one half will go to Tyrol and the other to Salzburg and from there to the famous winter resorts.

The services will operate weekly, every Friday between 23 December and 31 March and passengers can already book for December 2022. The price includes a 10-day trip, with a six-day ski pass and seven nights in a hotel. As for the sleeper cabins that the train will offer, passengers will be able to choose between bunks that accommodate two, three or four travelers.
