The first pictures of the floating park in New York.

After years of challenges, New York's spectacular “floating park” is finally taking shape with its 132 tulip-shaped pots installed on pilings in the Hudson River but is set to open in spring of 2021.

Media tycoon Barry Dealer and his wife, fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg, funded the construction of this stunning park that will change the look of the Hudson River. The park promises to feature lots of green space for lounging, gardens of flowers and performance venues, offering educational programs, events and cultural experiences. But the most important... fantastic views of the NYC skyline.  The “floating park” will be called “Little Island” and is expected to cost more than $ 130 million. It’s going to be a beautiful escape from the hustle of the city.
