According to Tripadvisor's Travelers' Choice Awards, Elafonissi Beach in Crete has officially been crowned Tripadvisor's Travelers ' World for 2025.
For the first time, a Greek beach has topped the globally renowned Tripadvisor list—a moment of pride and celebration for Greece and its tourism industry. The 2025 Best Beaches in the World edition highlights Elafonissi as an exceptional destination.
According to Tripadvisor, "With pink (yes, pink) sand and turquoise waters, Elafonissi Beach is one of those places you must see to believe. Just stay until sunset—you won't regret it."
