How the Happiest U.S. Cities Were Ranked
WalletHub analyzed 182 major cities — including the 150 most populous cities in the country, plus at least two of the largest in every state — to determine where Americans are thriving the most.
They scored each city across three main dimensions:

High Income Levels

In Fremont, a whopping 80% of households exceed that benchmark, giving residents more freedom to invest in experiences, self-care, and community — all of which boost happiness.
