This Is One Of The Creepiest And Coolest Airbnbs You'll Ever See

If you are tired of conventional hotel rooms and want to experience a different accommodation, here is the opportunity!

On a quiet residential street just below Lincoln College and about a mile from the historic square in the center of the small town of Lincoln, Illinois, you'll find a very unique and mysterious Airbnb. This is the “Mysterious Black Lincoln, IL Octagon Goth House”, and as its name suggests its main feature is the black paint that covers every surface. It's an all-black 1,500-square-foot, octagon-shaped home that was built in 1993, but received a complete renovation in 2021. The retro octagon design harkens back to the 1800s,and in the midst of a residential area, this home certainly stands out due to its quirky aesthetic.

The building, despite its black color, remains quite bright thanks to the white decorative elements in the space, the large windows and the skylights. It features a fully equipped chef's kitchen with granite countertops, two bathrooms that are all black with white tiles, an inviting foyer, open plan living/dining room with corner gas fireplace, a comfortable bedroom and luxurious king size inflatable beds. An impressive spiral staircase connects the ground floor with the attic. It can also accommodate up to nine guests and is available for around $250 per night.
