The new 23,000 square foot Starbucks Reserve will span three floors and will feature a coffee roasting plant, a cafe, and a cocktail bar. Starbucks Reserve Roasteries are reserved for some of their largest markets, with other locations in Seattle, Shanghai, and Milan.
The new roastery will showcase Starbucks’ coffee-making process from start to finish. Visitors will be able to watch the coffee beans being roasted and then brewed. They will also be able to purchase coffee beans and other coffee-related merchandise.
The New York roastery will also feature Arriviamo, a cocktail bar. Arriviamo will serve coffee-inspired cocktails, as well as beer and wine. The bar will also feature a food menu with items such as charcuterie, cheese, and chocolate.
The Starbucks Reserve Roastery New York will be the only Starbucks in the world to offer Cold Pressed Espresso. This patented technology uses gentle upward pressure and cold water give an espresso shot reminiscent of a cold brew – sweeter and softer than normal.
