The International Air Transport Association (IATA) said international air travel is not expected to return to normal by 2023.
Soon we will be able to travel to new places and discover new destinations, but it will not be like before. Airlines will go through years to get back before the COVID-19 years. Airline flights will be less, and prices may be higher.

There is also the scenario that says that if we have a new increase in virus cases and lockdown, we will return in 2024.
This April, we had an average of 29,000 flights a day worldwide, while in April 2019, there were almost 120,000 flights a day.
Global passenger demand in 2021 is expected to be 24% lower than in 2019 and 32% lower than projected in October 2019.
