This major European airline is finally returning to Dubai this week
Travelers flying between Dubai and Greece will soon have another direct option, as Aegean Airlines is scheduled to resume its Athens–Dubai service on Friday, October 23, 2026.
The Greek carrier confirmed the return in an announcement outlining developments across its international network. The restored connection will bring Dubai back into its direct flight schedule from Athens ahead of the winter travel season.
Dubai’s return accompanies another addition to Aegean’s Middle East network. The airline plans to begin direct flights from Athens to Damascus on December 2, 2026, with up to four services a week during winter.
Together, the two routes will expand the airline’s connections between the Greek capital and the region, with Dubai services restarting first and Damascus following in December.
